Getting Started with VektorCAD

VektorCAD is a web-based 2D CAD software designed for simplicity and ease of use. It runs directly in your browser—no installation required.

Launching VektorCAD

  1. Open your browser and go to vektorcad
  2. Click on Login to access your personalized dashboard.
  3. From the dashboard, click Blank Drawing to start a new design.

Setting Up Your Drawing Sheet

After launching a new drawing:

  • Choose your sheet size (A3, A4, etc.)
  • Set the orientation (Portrait or Landscape)
  • Select the drawing scale

This setup ensures that your drawing matches the required output format.

Start Drawing

You can begin drawing using the toolbar on the left. Common commands include:

  • Line, Circle, Ellipse, Rectangle, Arc
  • Spline, Polygon, Freehand
  • Text, Dimensions, and Hatch

Hover over each tool to see its tooltip, or refer to the Drawing Tools section for more details.

Saving and Managing Files

  • All your drawings are saved to your cloud account.
  • From the dashboard, you can rename, duplicate, or share your files.
  • You can also export drawings to PDF for printing or manufacturing.
